Currently, Porcelanosa specializes in the development and manufacturing of a variety of products—from tiles to bathroom and sanitary ware—and has products available in over 400 showrooms worldwide.

Porcelanosa was founded over 40 years ago in Castellon, Spain and is now a global leader in the innovation, design, manufacture and distribution of tile, kitchen and bath products. The company now has 27 showrooms within the United States and Canada.

Besides tiles and mosaics, Porcelanosa also manufactures custom kitchen cabinetry, hardwood and laminate flooring, cutting-edge bathroom and sanitaryware, natural stone slabs, installation materials, exterior facades, and their revolutionary KRION® Solid Surface material.
Eco-Friendly Manufacturing Processes
Since the beginning of their business, Porcelanosa has taken on a prominent role in environmental awareness. The Porcelanosa Group was one of the first conglomerates in the tile industry that obtained the ISO 14001 certification for environmentally friendly manufacturing processes. This certification proves the long standing tradition of PORCELANOSA to conserve natural resources.
Porcelanosa has also developed their EcoProject, which supports this cause through products that are not only advanced, but also environmentally friendly. In the creation of these products, we are able to conserve valuable resources and minimize waste. The resources of energy, air, and water are some of the focal points of the EcoProject, with the purpose of following our core value of innovation.
Throughout our development, we have dedicated ourselves to investing into warehouses and facilities. This investment allows us to generate products in the most sustainable way possible. One-third of the electricity consumed by the company comes from its own cogeneration systems, making our company more energy efficient.
In order to avoid atmospheric pollution, we use dust extraction systems that are fitted with air filters. Along with using 100% water vapor, we have been able to reduce the chance of air contamination.
Water conservation is also an important concern, as 6.4 tons of waste reaches the sea every year. Because of this, Porcelanosa’s manufacturing plants contain technologies that undergo water purification. Our systems also use 100% recycled water in our grinding processes, in order to reduce water consumption.
