Kingspan Net Zero Energy Mission
In 2011, Kingspan Group embarked on what seemed to be an almost impossible challenge: committing to matching 100% of their operational energy with renewable energy by 2020 on an aggregated basis. Through this program, Kingspan has achieved a 27% reduction in energy intensity and a 6-fold reduction in carbon intensity, while introducing solar PV to 20% of their sites and instigating significant on-site generation projects.
